1. Urban Bike Sizing

Finding the right bike size is primarily based on your height and your “inseam” (the length from your crotch to the floor). If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing down for a more agile ride or sizing up for a more stable, relaxed feel.

2. Fitness Equipment Footprint

When ordering Treadmills, Ellipticals, or Rowing Machines, “sizing” refers to the physical space needed in your home. We recommend following the “Rule of Two”:

  • Ceiling Height: Ensure your ceiling is at least 20 inches (50 cm) higher than your own height when standing on a treadmill.
  • Safety Clearance: Allow a minimum of 2 feet (60 cm) of clear space on all sides of the machine for safe mounting and dismounting.

3. Strength Training Gear

For benches and strength stations, ensure the equipment length accommodates your full height during horizontal exercises (like bench presses). Most of our strength equipment is designed to comfortably support users up to 6’6″ (198 cm).

4. How to Measure Yourself

To get the most accurate results, follow these quick steps:

  1. Stand Straight: Lean against a wall without shoes on.
  2. Measure Inseam: Use a measuring tape to find the distance from your inner thigh to the floor.
  3. Compare: Match your height and inseam to the specific “Size Chart” link found on each individual product page.
